PCTV offers a wide range of training workshops in many different areas of television production.

Orientation and Producer Prep Workshops are required for all Community Producers. If you wish to produce a program using portable equipment, continue your training in Studio Production, or Editing, PCTV also offers many different classes.

Community Producers who may have had previous experience in television studio operations or editing may test out of the workshops. In most cases, however, a person wishing to produce a program using one of PCTV's portable units must complete the Basic Electronic Field Production (EFP) Workshop and is required to pass a certification test.

All workshops except Orientation and Producer Prep charge a nominal fee to cover the cost of workshop materials.

Please try to arrive a few minutes before every workshop. All workshops begin promptly at the scheduled time. No one will be permitted to enter a workhop once it has begun.
